About Me

Hi, I'm Yana!

I'm a 20-year-old Graphic Design student and the founder of Studio Geesje—a small creative brand where cute and colorful designs come to life. From playful patterns to handmade products, everything you see here is created with love, attention to detail, and a passion for creativity.

As I'm still studying, Studio Geesje is more than just my business—it's a place where I can grow, experiment, and turn everything I learn into real products. Every design is part of my creative journey, and I love sharing that process with you.

My style is inspired by soft colors, cheerful illustrations, and a cozy, positive atmosphere. Whether it's journal paper, accessories, or drinkware, my goal is to create products that make everyday moments feel just a little more special.

On this website, you'll not only find my products but also my portfolio, where I showcase my graphic design work, creative projects, and the growth of Studio Geesje. It's a chance to take a look behind the scenes of my designs and follow my journey as a designer.

Thank you so much for your support and for being part of this creative adventure! 💫

My First Magazine Design

This magazine was the very first design project I created during my Graphic Design studies. The assignment was to work together with a classmate to design a magazine that introduced ourselves in a creative and personal way.

During this project, I was introduced to the complete magazine design process for the first time—from developing a concept and designing page layouts to combining text, illustrations, and images into one cohesive publication. It was both a challenging and enjoyable experience that taught me a great deal about layout design, typography, and visual storytelling.

Looking back on this project now, I can clearly see how much I have grown as a designer. Even so, this magazine will always be special to me because it marked the beginning of my creative journey and the first step toward the work I create today.

National Outdoor Play Day

For National Outdoor Play Day, I had the opportunity to design a cheerful and eye-catching poster that reflected the fun and welcoming atmosphere of the event. The goal was to present all the essential information in a clear and organized way while creating a design that immediately captures attention.

Using bright colors, playful design elements, and a clean layout, I created a poster that encourages people to get outside, join the activities, and enjoy the day together. From bouncy castles to live music and entertainment, every part of the event was given its own place within the design.

This was an enjoyable project that allowed me to combine creativity with functionality, creating a promotional poster that is both engaging and easy to understand.

SportOnline – Corporate Design

I completed this project during my third year of study as part of the Corporate Design elective. For the fictional client SportOnline, I was tasked with developing a complete brand identity and visual style that aligned with the company's target audience and brand objectives.

The project began with research into the target audience, competitors, and the desired brand positioning. Based on this research, I defined SportOnline's core values, brand personality, and brand promise. I then translated these elements into a complete visual identity, including a logo, color palette, typography, and a professional brand style guide.

In addition, I designed a range of cross-media materials, including a website, social media content, and promotional materials for a sporting event. This project helped me further develop my skills in branding, graphic design, and corporate identity design, while teaching me how to create and maintain a consistent and professional brand across multiple platforms.
