Political Party Rebranding

Political Party Rebranding

Political Party Rebranding

This was my second project during my studies. For this assignment, we had to rebrand a political party and create a complete visual identity around it.

The party was mainly focused on young people and creating a more inclusive society. Its main ideas included reducing discrimination, promoting equality, and paying more attention to the environment and sustainability.

One of the biggest challenges I experienced during this project was coming up with a suitable logo. I had some difficulties finding an idea that represented the party's values while still being simple and recognizable. Eventually, I came up with the idea of using two moons. I placed the two moons together in a way that makes them look like a link or connection. The idea behind this is that everyone is equal and connected, regardless of their differences. The two moons represent people coming together and creating a stronger connection within society.

For the project, I designed a complete identity, including a new logo, website, bus shelter poster (abri), flyer, infographic, and corporate identity sheet. I used a combination of purple, turquoise, and white, together with bold typography and illustrations, to create a modern and approachable look aimed at a younger audience.

This project taught me how to translate ideas and values into a visual identity and how to keep a consistent style across different forms of communication, both online and offline. It also helped me improve my skills in branding, graphic design, typography, illustration, and layout. Most importantly, I learned that a strong visual concept does not always come immediately and that experimenting with different ideas can eventually lead to a concept with a clear meaning behind it.
